Punch up your payload with a HiLux GVM Upgrade Option
Pre-production vehicle shown fitted with optional Toyota Genuine Accessories (sold separately). GVM Upgrade Option available on selected HiLux variants only and for vehicles produced from June 2026. The GVM Upgrade Option is factory-fitted and designed to increase the vehicle's GVM up to approximately 3,500kg. Availability may vary and is subject to Toyota approval and fitment requirements. Toyota recommends that HiLux vehicles fitted with a GVM Upgrade Option are operated with a permanent minimum payload, such as suitable accessories, cargo mass or towing load. Operation without a consistent minimum payload may result in noticeably reduced ride comfort and vehicle performance. Refer to the Owner’s Manual for GVM minimum payload, limits and specifications. Toyota’s very own factory-fitted Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) Upgrade option is now available on HiLux.
This upgrade option will increase the maximum allowable load carrying capacity of the vehicle at the production facility, allowing your HiLux to carry more while maintaining full compliance on Australian roads.
